NOTICE OF PLACES AND DATES OF REGISTRATION
In compliance with the provisions of K.S.A. 25-2310, notice is hereby given that the books for registration of voters of Phillips County, Kansas, for the General Election on November 5th, 2024 will be open at the following places during regular business hours: the Phillips County Clerk’s Office, 301 State St., Phillipsburg, KS 67661.
Persons who apply for services at voter registration agencies may register at the following places during regular business hours: Department of Motor Vehicle Office, Phillipsburg, KS.
At 5:00 p.m. on the 15th day of October, 2024 the books for registration will close and will remain closed until the 6th day of November, 2024.
A citizen of the United States who is 18 years of age or older, or will have attained the age of 18 years on or before the election, must register before he or she can vote. Registration closes twenty-one (21) days prior to every election. When a voter has been registered according to law, the voter shall remain registered until the voter changes name by marriage, divorce or other legal proceeding or changes residence. If any of the preceding has occurred, you must re-register.
The County Election Officer or the Secretary of State upon request shall provide application forms. For an application by mail call 785-543-6825 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, or you may print an application by going to www.voteks.org and either mail or bring the application to Phillips County Clerk at 301 State Street, Phillipsburg, KS 67661 or you may register online at www.voteks.org. The applicant under penalty of perjury shall sign the application.
