Phillips County Attorney
The Phillips County Attorney’s Office is primarily responsible for misdemeanor and felony criminal prosecution. The office is also responsible for handling the following cases:
- Misdemeanor and felony criminal prosecution
- Phillips County and Kansas Highway Patrol Traffic violations
- Juvenile offender cases
- Child in need of care cases (CINC)
- Care and treatment petitions-Mental Illness
- Handle post-conviction matters, including direct appeals and habeas corpus petitions.

- Kansas Victim Information and Notification Everyday (VINE) is a service provided through the collaboration of the Office of the Attorney General, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, and the Kansas Sheriffs' Association. VINE is a free, secure, and confidential way to access custody status and criminal case information. Register for notifications and stay informed. A notification network allowing survivors and victims of crime to receive alerts regarding an offender’s custody status in jail or prison.

- The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) established the Law Enforcement Victims Assistance (LEVA) Program to assist survivors of crime and their families. The Program's mission is to advocate, support, and connect survivors of crime to services and resources that prioritize safety, protect victims' rights, and meet each individual's needs using a trauma-informed approach and victim-centered practices.
