Get ready for an unforgettable adventure around the stunning Kirwin National Wildlife Refuge! Take a Ride on the Wild Side is a relaxed, non‑competitive bike ride designed for every kind of rider — from families and beginners to seasoned cyclists looking for a challenge.
Choose Your Route
• 6‑mile Family/Beginners Loop – Easy, scenic, and perfect for all ages
• 16‑mile Intermediate Route – A great ride with variety and views
• 31‑mile Experienced Loop – A full tour around the reservoir with rolling hills and winding lanes
Every route offers incredible scenery: wildlife, birds, prairie grasses, wildflowers, and wide‑open Kansas skies. Terrain includes chalk/gravel roads, dirt roads, and (on the long route) a short 4‑mile stretch of highway.
