The EMS Director is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, and operational readiness of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) department in a rural setting. This includes oversight of personnel, compliance, budgeting, training, community outreach, and direct patient care as needed. The role requires a blend of administrative expertise and a willingness to provide hands-on support in the field.
